Privacy at DueDone

What we collect
- Account details: email, display name, and password (stored by our authentication provider, never in plain text).
- If you post a bill: the bill document you upload, the details on it, your pay-the-biller instructions, your story, and your privacy choices.
- If you pay a bill: the amount, the confirmation reference you submit, and whether you chose to give publicly or anonymously.
What is public, and what never is
- Public: verified bill cards showing the biller, amount, due date, city, story, the display name you chose (first name, full name, or nothing, per your privacy choice), funding progress, and public donors' display names and totals.
- Never public: bill documents, account numbers, full addresses, and pay instructions. Pay instructions are revealed only to signed-in donors at the moment they choose to pay a specific bill. Bill documents are visible only to you and the verification team.
Money
DueDone never receives, holds, or moves money. Donors pay billers directly through the biller's own channels. We record confirmations donors submit so progress can be shown; we are not a party to the payment itself.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with the service providers that run the platform (hosting, database, authentication) and when required by law.
Your choices
You choose your privacy level when posting and can ask us to remove a bill or delete your account at any time by emailing getduedone@gmail.com. Removing a bill removes its public card; confirmation records already published in aggregate statistics may remain in anonymized form.
